Maren Morris wins Female Artist of the Year and Song of the Year at 2021 ACM Awards

Maren Morris won Female Artist of the Year for the second year in a row and Song of the Year for her triple-Platinum, Grammy-nominated smash hit “The Bones” at the 2021 ACM Awards last night. Additionally, Maren and her husband, singer-songwriter Ryan Hurd, performed “Chasing After You,” their first official duet together.

“My one whim for this song was to hear Chris Stapleton accompany me on it,” shared Hammack. “Two years after I spoke this wish out loud in the studio, Chris agreed to sing the part I had written in hopes of hearing his voice on it. Life is a beautiful full circle sometimes. I am so grateful to Chris for singing on this song."
