Kelsea Ballerini’s new single “WHAT I HAVE”
Kelsea first performed “WHAT I HAVE” at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville back in January. At that time, she said to fans on the stage, “I just started making a new album, and I’m in the really early stages, and it’s still kind of coming together, and I’m still trying to figure it out.” She continued, “I think one of themes that I am finding is what I think probably a lot of us have found in the last couple of years as we kind of been forced to step back and look at our lives and have a lot of time to do that. It’s made you look at what you have differently and for me, I’ve started to really appreciate the little things in life a lot more.”
Nikki Lane’s new single “Born Tough”
The first two singles on Nikki Lane’s upcoming album Denim & Diamonds hinted at the self-reflection housed in the album. However, “Born Tough” takes us back to Nikki Lane’s early days as she talks about being hardened by time. In the lyrics she talks about her upbringing, filing for divorce, and being generally tough as nails.
Gabrielle Metz’s new music video for “Mixtape”
Starting with scenes of a normal day in her life, the music video makes the audience feel much closer to the artist, which increases our connection to the song. In addition to that, the different activities shown in the video, such as driving, walking around the streets, having fun in parks, and enjoying rooftop views, helps transmit the song’s message, that we can be someone different each day.
Caroline Kid’s new single “Wyoming”
“I’ve wanted to release this song for a long time, but knew I needed the stars to align to do it right,” she shared with Stage Right Secrets. “Watching the transformation of this song go from chicken scratches in my journal to a full production with studio musicians is surreal. I feel so lucky my passion for this song survived 6 crazy years and that I am able to share it with the world.”
