Carrie Underwood is joining forces with Dan + Shay on a new version of the song "Only Us," which will be featured on the soundtrack of the upcoming film Dear Evan Hansen.

“It was an emotional time, and what I usually do with my emotions is turn them into art,” Alaina explains in a recent interview. “With the pandemic and everything, I stopped for the first time in 10 years. I never would have had enough time to do all three of those projects in such a short time span, but because I was home consistently, I was able to reconnect with myself in a way that I hadn't been able to for so long."

Corben had this to say about the song, "This song is for all my girls who have been hurt by a boy who wasn’t ready to commit or couldn't because he wasn't trustworthy. I wrote it in college while I was dating one of those boys and of course, he had two first names." "At the time I was looking to create a song that would be uptempo and fun to jam out to with my girls."

It’s a song of empowerment about knowing your self worth when deciding to give your heart away,” Nora shares. “The day we wrote Vegas, we knew we wrote something special because the song just poured out of us.
