Christmas may be over 100 days away, but the holiday season will be much more jolly with Carrie Underwood’s first ever Christmas “My Gift” coming this fall. About time!

The country super star teams up with GRAMMY Award-winning producer and songwriter and Greg Wells to put us in the holiday spirit that much sooner. “My Gift” also features a world class orchestra led by David Campbell.

As if we were not already chomping at the bit, Carrie even dropped a teaser trailer of “My Gift.” She gives us a sneak peek of some of the classic tunes that will be on the new album. She also explains what Christmas and the holiday time means to her and her family.

“I’ve always wanted to make a Christmas album and it’s been a long time coming,” Underwood shared in a statement. “I knew this would be my next music project after wrapping my tour last year, and I think it’s turned out to be the perfect time for an album like this, in this period of such personal and spiritual reflection.  For me, it’s more important than ever to focus on the true meaning of Christmas in a project like this.  Even though it has been a tough year for all of us, sometimes I feel like the greatest realizations can be inspired by the most difficult times, and make us more grateful for the things we do have and for what truly matters.”

“My Gift” will be released September 25, 2020 and we are so ready to sing along with Carrie to the Christmas classics!
