Bernadette Manuelito in the AMC+ series, Dark Winds. She took time from her busy shooting schedule in Santa Fe to sit for an interview with Wendy Wilkinson, who captured the spirt of the young and accomplished actress who is truly leading the Generation Next Indigenous Movement. As an advocate for native peoples from every walk of life, Jessica enlisted a team of indigenous women to create the stunning images in the feature. The extraordinarily talented Tira Howard photographed Jessica with the creative support of stylist Amber-Dawn Bear Robe, who some might recognize as the Fashion Show Producer for the Santa Fe Indian Market, and makeup artist, April Chavez. The location for the shoot was Blame Her Ranch in Ribera, New Mexico, just outside Santa Fe, with several additional shots taken at Kenneth Johnson’s jewelry studio on Water Street in downtown Santa Fe.
