Nicole Sheridan and her uber-successful writer/producer husband Taylor recently moved operations and family to Texas where they are expanding their Bosque Ranch domain. The life of the wife, mother, and proud proprietor of her namesake bar on the ranch, adds up to a lot of fun and responsibility.

COWGIRL Editor Ken Amorosano spent a couple of days at the Sheridan’s Bosque Ranch to shoot the cover and layout and to interview Nicole in her new surroundings. As you will gather from the interview, Bosque Ranch is a beehive of activity with a big-money, championship cutting show going on at the same time husband Taylor is filming scenes for the Yellowstone prequel Y: 1883, nearby.

Nicole is a cowgirl in her own right, riding horses from an early age and now cutting competitively while training new cutting horse prospects and settling into her new Texas lifestyle. The former supermodel who has dipped her toe into acting in several projects is no stranger to the goings-on of television production and horses. The Sheridan’s currently maintain around 100 head of horses and a growing mélange of farm animals and pets that keep their tight-knit family busy all the time. Adding to her newest responsibilities is her sitting on the board of the Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame.
