Maybe we’re just really missing the drama-filled series that’s gearing up for season 3, but we’ve taken a look back on Nashville Season 2 and put together a list of Connie Britton outfits, who plays “Rayna James” that we can’t get enough of. Season 2 had amazing style and we’re excited to see fashion Season 3 has in store come Fall.

All Business, Some Play

In the episode “Just For What I Am” Britton looks sleek and sophisticated in the Abigail Brocade Jacket by Elizabeth and James. Her leopard print blouse peeking out from underneath by L’Agence gives the look a trendy edge.

Glowing in Gold

In the episode “I Don’t Wanna Talk About It Now” there was a lot of gold going on in Britton’s outfit, but it was the perfect balance between too little and too much. The gold stripes on her white top by Stella McCartney complemented her gilded waxed jeans. The perfect country-goes-rockstar look.

Polo Perfect

During the Polo Match in the episode “It Must Be You” Britton wore a black and white bodycon dress and big, floppy hat. The dress was sophisticated, elegant and had a little edge per her signature style.

Belle of the Ball in Blue

This strapless ruched gown by Monique Lhullier was stunning on Britton in the episode “You’re No Angel Yourself.” It was elegant while still not being too stuffy for such a formal event. Her character “Rayna James” has a playful, edgy but, most importantly, sophisticated style and this was shown through this gown choice.

What We Call Edgy-Chic

In the episode “Never No More,” Connie Britton donned an edgy halter top that had a chic vibe. Maybe it was her high ponytail or the fact that she’s Connie Britton, this top could do no wrong.
