PBR Ak-Chin Invitational Bull Riders Cowgirl Magazine

COWGIRL Magazine spent Saturday night at the PBR Ak-Chin Invitational, and to say it was incredible is an understatement.

The best bull riders in the business were at the Arizona event, and so were the best bucking bulls. Check out highlights from the action packed evening!

Ryan Weaver, PBR recording artist, opened up the show with a heartfelt tribute to his brother and brother in law, who were both killed in action while serving the USA. Ryan has an incredible story! Make sure you follow him on Facebook, and visit his website to learn more.

Are you ready for it? The bull riders make their grand entry…and the crowd goes wild! Silvano Alves, pictured above, is arguably one of the best bull riders to ever live, and is a major fan favorite.

The extraordinarily talented Derrick Begay was the pickup man on duty. This talented horseman not only picks up for the PBR, but is also an accomplished team roper, having been to the WNFR a total of seven times.

Let’s get to the bull riding! Silvano Alves wowed the crowd with not one, but two amazing rides on Saturday night. The bull pictured is Blue Stone.

There were some rough rides, like the one Marco Eguchi had aboard Udder Lover. You can’t deny how much try these bull riders have!

JB Mauney, another fan favorite, had a rough weekend at the Ak-Chin Invitational, but will likely make a quick comeback.

Eduardo Aparecido was the big winner of the weekend, with his 8 second ride on Stunt Man Ray leading him to victory.

Eduardo tips his hat to the audience as he soaks up his big win.

COWGIRL Magazine would like congratulate all of the contestants who gave it their all at the Ak-Chin Invitational. From the competitors and bulls, to the staff who makes sure that each event is a masterpiece, it doesn’t get better than the PBR!
