We’ve got our eyes on updos for this summer season! Spice up the basic ponytail (or in this case, pigtails) for some pull through braids. This easy-to-do look can be completed in just a few simple steps:
Prep your hair by curling and adding texture spray for extra volume and thickness.
STEP 1:
Section your hair into two even parts.
STEP 2:
Working with one section, pull the top half of your hair into a high ponytail.
STEP 3:
Make a second ponytail that sits beneath your first.
STEP 4:
Split the top ponytail into two even sections and wrap around the bottom ponytail.
STEP 5:
Secure the two sections of the top ponytail beneath the bottom ponytail with a clear elastic.
STEP 6:
Repeat Steps 4 & 5 until you have reached the end of your hair.
STEP 7:
Repeat Steps 3-6 to the other section of hair.
Finish off the look by adding a silk wild rag, fashion hat, or other fun hair accessories.
