Amy Raymond is a woman who has always broke the mold. She is a ranch wife, mother, and silversmith, dedicated to her craft. Amy says, “Being a silversmith for the last fourteen years has given me a chance to show people my artistic side.   I love working with my customers to make something they can have forever.  Something that I have been enjoying recently has been working with Stephanie (of Long X Trading Co.) on making some out of the box silver jewelry. One of my goals for myself is to one day be a silversmith teacher.  Helping others learn what I know is very important to keeping this trade alive.” Natalie McFarland, of McFarland Productions, traveled to Oregon to capture behind the scenes footage of Amy Raymond at work. The photoshoot is part of the Pendleton Cattle Barons Weekend. Take a look at the day in the life of an accomplished silversmith as she turns her creative dreams into reality.
