Reba Cowgirl Hall of Fame Cowgirl Magazine

Reba McEntire will join Jacqueline Smith McEntire, her mother and public educator; Mary Burger, a world champion barrel racer; Ashley Collins, an artist and humanitarian; and Margaret McGinley Dicken, co-founder of Wings of Hope Equitherapy when the esteemed women are inducted into the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame at its 42nd Annual Induction Ceremony on November 21.

Reba and her fellow inductees were chosen because their lives exemplify the courage, resilience, and independence that helped shape the American West.  For the first time since 2012, the museum will present the Gloria Lupton Tennison Pioneer Award, which recognizes an individual who has pioneered new approaches to public service in the areas of business, law, sports, the arts, or humanitarian causes; this year’s recipient is Ann B. Romney.

Red Steagall and NBC 5 Today Anchor Deborah Ferguson will co-host the celebratory affair.  About 1,000 people are expected to attend the event at the Will Rogers Memorial Center, beginning at 11 a.m. with a champagne reception.  Individual tickets can be purchased at cowgirl.net.  Established in 1975, the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame is the only museum in the world dedicated to honoring women that helped shape the American West.
