As some folks may know, country music legend Reba McEntire was a rodeo star when she was a kid. Raised by a champion steer roper father, Reba had no choice but to enter the rodeo scene as a barrel racer. While Reba found success chasing barrels, it was her singing of the “Star Spangled Banner” at the 1974 National Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma City that led to her becoming an instant sensation. Tonight, Reba will go back to her rodeo roots when she performs the National Anthem at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. The event airs at 10:00 PM ET (nightly re-air at 1 a.m. ET) on CBS Sports Network (DISH channel 158, DirecTV channel 221).
