Recovery Time was the kind of bucking bull that every stock contractor would love to have on their trailer. He had such an easy going, laidback personality, but also knew when it was time to do his job and brought his very best each and every time he bucked in the arena. He was consistent every time he bucked and he was one you could always count on.

Recovery Time was purchased by Wesley (father) and Paige Stout (daughter) in 2014, when Recovery Time was just a three year old. Paige said, “I knew he was a special bull from the very beginning. He went on to far exceed my expectations in every way.”

Recovery Time quickly made his way on the Professional Bull Riders tour, hauled by Paige Stout Bucking Bulls. He carried multiple professional bull riders to round wins in the arena. He went on to be selected to attend the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas 3 times in his career. “Recovery Time played such an important part in carrying me through the core part of my career as a PBR Stock Contractor. He taught me so many things not only about bulls and animals, but about life as well.”

Recovery Time retired from his career as a PBR Bucking Bull in 2017. He lived his remaining years on the ranch in Weatherford, Tx., carrying on his legacy through future generations in bucking bulls. Even after his recent passing in January, Recovery Time still impacts the lives of those that had the opportunity to be a part of his professional career.

Paige Stout is part of the 2020 inaugural class of COWGIRL 30 Under 30. She has been and will continue to be a force in the western industry. All of us at CM are sending our thoughts and prayers her way.
