We all know and love actress Reese Witherspoon. From Legally Blonde to Sweet Home Alabama, she has truly brought us some of the most lovable movies. Now, we have another reason to lover her! Reese will be producing My Kind Of Country. A brand new country music competition for Apple TV+.

My Kind Of Country aims to to bring more diversity and backgrounds to country music. Allowing all competitors to bring their unique voice and talents to country music. Additionally, the show will bring more of a “documentary” style to televised musical competitions.

In an Instagram post announcing the new show, Reese wrote, “Well, it’s not looking like I’ll ever fulfill my childhood dreams of becoming Dolly Parton … but this might just be the next best thing! I am beyond excited to share that Hello Sunshine will be partnering with Apple to bring y’all its very first competition series.”

As much as we all wish we were Dolly, but there can only be one. But maybe Reese and her team will find a new iconic country lady!

Reese Witherspoon will team up with Lauren Neustadter, Cynthia Stockhammer and Sandbox Entertainment head Jason Owen. Jason manages quite a few female country power houses including Kacey Musgraves, Kelsea Ballerini and Faith Hill.
