Rodeo Rocker Steiner Sets 95 Point World Record Ride Against Virgil By Julia Ayres | June 7, 2022 Photo Courtesy: PRCA and Rosanna Sales Share 18-year-old Rocker Steiner, "the rising star with championship bloodlines running through his veins," just proved he could be one of the best bareback riders in rodeo history. During the Riggin Rally in Darby, Montana, he scored 95 points on his ride on Virgil, the 2017 PRCA Bareback Horse of the Year. The C5 Rodeo powerhouse scored 23.5/25 points, while Steiner was able to smack down 24/25 points. Steiner, who is currently holding #10 in Bareback Standings as a rookie, seems to be a force to be reckoned with. Announcer Bob Tallman said it best, "You're watching an 18 year old young man on the course of a legendary career," and honestly, this guy seems to be unstoppable in his rookie year so far. As we move forward into Cowboy Christmas, we are very excited to see how well Steiner does on his road to NFR.
