What started as an Etsy shop in 2013 has quickly taken the Pacific Northwest by storm. Rural Haze opened their first location in April of 2017 with 14 styles of boots. Fast forward 2 years and they have become the largest boot retailer in the Pacific Northwest. It isn’t about the size though, its about the personal touch. Every personal service email and phone call is answered by an actual person, every package is wrapped with a bow and also includes a handwritten thank you note. When asked what Jane Kasper loves about being the boot business she responded ‘we aren’t in the boot business, we are in the confidence business.’ With each boot that goes out the door a woman’s confidence increases. There isn’t much a woman in the right pair of boots can’t accomplish.

 

This ranching native from California moved to Idaho after meeting her husband on a fishing boat in Texas. When asked about the growth they have experienced in the last year she laughs and says ‘nobody is more surprised than us. The fact that these women work hard day in and day out, then choose to purchase from us makes us feel very fortunate. We believe in them as much as they believe in us.’  She also adds that this growth could not have been sustained without the support of her husband and an incredible team. Rural Haze specializes in leather boots with a very unique vibe and feel.
