Silverado Apparel Has A New Owner

Silverado Apparel + Home has been designing and manufacturing luxury bedding, home accessories, and custom apparel for over 40 years.

In March of 2021, Sylvia announced she would be closing her doors.

"After 40 amazing years, Silverado will be closing its doors. The talented owner and founder, Sylvia Spence, is ready to retire. She created stunning, one of a kind home decor and apparel all handmade here in the USA. Sylvia has poured her heart and soul into this company since day one when she started it in the 80s with her sister. It has been a long and beautiful ride, but she is ready to start the next chapter. Sylvia and the whole Silverado team would like to thank you all. Without our employees, sales representatives, customers, vendors, family and friends this company would not be what it is today. We love you all and hope the future holds something beautiful for each and everyone one of you!"

However, one short month later in April of 2021, another announcement was made!

"When one chapter ends another begins! Sylvia Spence, the founder of Silverado, is excited to announce that this beautiful mother and daughter duo, @caryegruben and @thekaelynblayne, have bought the company! The company will be moving to Texas where it will have its new beginning. The reigns have been passed but remember it will take time for them to get their stride. We must all be patient while the move happens and we can’t wait to see what these two inspiring women have on the horizon for Silverado!"
