Special Guest Judge Joins The National Western Stock Show Grand Champion Steer Selection

Make A Wish Colorado kid, Kayden Halls joined National Western Stock Show in Denver as a guest judge for their Grand Champion Steer Selection. A unique wish and a first wish for NWSS.

Diagnosed with Leukemia, Kayden wanted to do something different from other kids in the foundation. As a young gal who loves caring for animals and helping around the family farm, she began finding interest in livestock competition. She stated, "I wanted something that would be practical and that I could use a lot, and that would help me in my day-to-day life."

Adding more to the excitement of the day, the Grand Champion steer was then sold at a record breaking $200,000! Not a dry eye in the house.
