HOME & RANCH Stingray Becomes A Breyer Horse By Katie Armstrong | January 15, 2020 Share Stingray is now a Breyer Horses! Everyone’s favorite barrel horse has been in the works towards becoming a Breyer for quite a while now! “Two-Time World Champion, MP Meter My Hay, known as Stingray, helped champion barrel racer Sherry Cervi become the first cowgirl to bring home over $2 million in earnings. Together, Sherry and Stingray clinched the 2010 World Champion title, and came back to win it again in 2013. That same year they set a National Finals Rodeo average record of 138.15 seconds in 10 runs – an incredible feat that speaks to Stingray’s amazing consistency.” -Breyer Horses View this post on Instagram A post shared by Sherry Cervi (@sherrycervi_fanpage) In a post on Instagram, Sherry said, “When I was a little girl I had my own collection of Breyer horses that I would play with, always barrel racing and pretending to be at the NFR. Practicing running the barrels with my Breyer horses will always be one of my fondest childhood memories! – Breyer contacted me a year ago about making Stingray a Breyer model and let me tell you, that has been one of the hardest secrets I’ve ever had to keep! I am so honored and excited that little girls (and big?), all over, will be able to have their very own Stingray to create memories with. I hope she will bring as much joy and great memories as my Breyer horses did when I was young.” Check out another barrel horse favorite here!
