Stinna Tange (also known as Stinna Kaastrup or Stinna Tange Kaastrup) is a Danish para-dressage rider. She was born without legs, but that didn’t get between her and dressage. She’s was the double bronze medalist at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Denmark, was the European Champion in 2017, and the Double World Champion 2018.

This past January, Stinna Kaastrup won Sports Name of the Year and Para-athlete of the Year in Denmark.

In February, she unfortunately had to retire her horse, Smarties, whom she had ridden for years.

Though she had to say goodbye to riding with Smarties, she had some exciting news to share not too long after. In June, she announced that she’d be riding a new horse, 5-year-old gelding Blue Hors Soletto.

As she began to work with Smarties, Stinna Kaastrup found successes…

And challenges.

Meanwhile, she’s been prepping for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, set to take place from Tuesday, August 25, 2o20 to Sunday, September 6, 2020 in Japan.

And, Blue Hors Soletto is doing great!

Finally, on December 25th, Kaastrup and her family shared some Christmas wishes.

We can’t wait to see what’s in store for Stinna Kaastrup in 2020!
