Mule Alley is the future home of some of your favorite Western retailers as well as gourmet dining and accommodations. This weekend, Lucchese and MB Mercantile & Supply are having their grand openings in Mule Alley, and the Stockyards Heritage Development Co. is hosting a party to celebrate called “Together We Ride.”

From May 22-25, “Together We Ride” will not only promote the opening of the two new stores, but the spirit of the Western community. The Stockyards Heritage Development Co. hopes that this event will encourage Texans to safely enjoy their state landmarks and the outdoors.

The weekend will be packed with fun Stockyards to-dos. On Saturday, May 23 from 11:00 AM CST to 4:00 PM CST will be the new Fort Worth Herd Experience. The Experience, according to the Stockyards Heritage Development Co., “brings the Old West to the Stockyards with story telling sessions and, of course, the famous Texas longhorn herd.”

Also on Saturday, the Stockyards will have picnic areas set up and from 12:00 PM CST to 6:00 PM CST, guests can enjoy beverage services from Cowtown Winery.

Throughout the weekend, guests will be able to meet country radio celebrities from The Ranch FM and Hank FM.

Into bandanas or collector’s pins? Anyone who signs up for the New Stockyards Hertiage Club can get one!

And, of course, the weekend will be full of shopping.

“The opening of one of the first two Lucchese stores in Mule Alley and MB Mercantile signifies a major milestone in the Fort Worth Stockyards’ new history. Lucchese, the first of many iconic western brands to call Mule Alley home, is an opening we have been looking forward to bringing to the Fort Worth community and beyond for several years. Help us welcome these two difference-makers safely this weekend,” says Craig Cavileer, managing partner for Stockyards Heritage.

The Stockyards Heritage Development Co. is taking safety very seriously, and encourages all guests to wear masks and practice social distancing.
