Tanya Tucker was nominated for her first Grammy 47 years ago for “Delta Dawn,” and she won her first awards this year. Tanya Tucker’s “Bring My Flowers Now” won Best Country Song, and While I’m Livin’ won Best Country Album!

Tucker posted a photo of her and “Bring My Flowers Home” co-writer Brandi Carlile to celebrate. Look how happy they are!

“No matter how old you are, never stop following your dreams,” said Tucker.

Tucker took a break from music after the death of her parents, but Shooter Jennings got her back in the game. She even said of Jennings, “I did it for Shooter.”

A huge congrats to Tanya Tucker, Brandi Carlile, and the whole Tucker team on their wins last night. Keep on truckin’!
