COWGIRL LIFE Tanya Tucker Debuts “The House That Built Me” By Samantha Crowley | August 2, 2019 Photo by Danny Clinch. Share Due out August 23rd, Tanya Tucker’s latest album While I’m Livin’ is a combination of meaningful covers and well-written originals, produced by Brandi Carlile and Shooter Jennings. The newest track out from the album is a cover of Miranda Lambert’s “The House That Built Me.” Tucker alters the lyrics from Lambert’s original to tell the story of a mother who, in search of clarity, returns to the home in which she raised her family. Although “The House That Built Me” is just an audio track for now, two songs from the album already have music videos: “The Wheels of Laredo” and “Hard Luck.” The artist only continues to impress as more songs from the album release in anticipation of the full album in just a few weeks.
