Taylor Swift announced last week that she was releasing a re-recording of her 2009 album "Fearless" on April 9th. The album will be comprised of 26 songs, including 6 never before released songs.

The reason she has decided to re-record her older records is because she does not own the master recordings. By recording her hits again, she can reclaim control of them in the form of the new "Taylor's Version".
