Saturday, October 29th, the Texas Trail of Fame will honor nine individuals who have made significant contributions into the creation and/or preservation of the American West and will unveil 24-inch bronze stars along the sidewalks of the Fort Worth Stockyards. Notable inductees include Sam Elliot, Robert Duvall and the Texas Rangers, to name a few. 

The ceremony will kick-off at 10:00 AM in front of the Livestock Exchange Building, all while the 31st Annual Red Steagall Cowboy Gathering is taking place. The unveiling of the Texas Rangers bronze star will take place at 1:30 PM in front of Hotel Drover

In conjunction with this special ceremony and ahead of the 16th annual Lone Star Film Festival at Hotel Drover, where Taylor Sheridan will receive the 2022 Larry McMurtry Award. There’s a new self-guided tour dubbed Stars of the Stockyards, where cinephiles and amateur viewers alike are invited to wander around the district and discover favorite movie and beloved TV show locations such as 1883, Walker Texas Ranger, and Prison Break, in addition to Texas Trail of Fame markers.
