The Country Music Association has dedicated country music’s biggest night to the women of country by bringing these female forces center stage for their 53rd annual CMA Awards celebration.

Host Carrie Underwood will be joined by co-hosts Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton. Can you name a more iconic trio?!

Speaking about the movement to promote women in country, Underwood said, “For me, personally, getting to be in a room with Dolly and Reba, those are two women that taught me how to do what I do. And looking forward, I want girls to be out watching this at home and seeing all of us on that stage and getting inspired and thinking, ‘I can do that, too, and I want to be a part of that. Come on!”

In addition to these legendary ladies, Terri Clark, Sara Evans, Crystal Gayle, The Highwomen (Brandi Carlile, Natalie Hemby, Maren Morris and Amanda Shires), Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Jennifer Nettles, Dolly Parton, Tanya Tucker, Carrie Underwood, and Gretchen Wilson will all take the stage for a “history-making” opening performance.

Y’all do not want to miss this.

The women of country will continue to dominate the stage with special performances from Kelsea Ballerini, Lindsay Ell, Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Little Big Town, Maddie & Tae, and Runaway June.

“It’s a tribute to legends, women of country music, the now current people and we’re looking to the future, too, which I really love having all of the elements come together and just being respectful and being loving and encouraging,” Underwood added.

Additional performances by Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire, Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves, Dolly Parton, and Carrie Underwood.

Presenters include, Deana Carter, Kristin Chenoweth, Janie Fricke, Kathy Mattea, Martina McBride, Jennifer Nettles, Pam Tillis, and Trisha Yearwood.

Tune in tomorrow for the 53rd Annual CMA Awards to celebrate the Women of Country. Airing live Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019 at 8/7c on ABC Television Network.
