Experience 1883 for yourself at the National Cowgirl Museum & Hall of Fame.

The recently opened exhibit called “1883: The Journey West” showcases the costumes, props, and photography from the show, 1883.

It is directed and written by Taylor Sheridan, the same man who created the tv hit, Yellowstone. 1883 is actually the prequel to Yellowstone. It follows the Dutton family as they move west to Montana from Texas during westward expansion in the United States.

They explained, “101 Studios, the studio responsible for 1883 and Yellowstone, curated items for the exhibition including an authentic wagon, a camp set-up and wardrobe worn by Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Sam Elliott and LaMonica Garrett along with behind-the-scenes photography.”

The National Cowgirl Museum is in Fort Worth, Texas, which is the same area 1883 was filmed.

It will be open through March 20th!
