Walker, played by Ryan Bingham, has experienced a lot since Rip picked him up outside of prison. When he was released from the Montana State Correctional Facility Walker met Rip Wheeler of the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, who was looking for a new hand to come work on the ranch. Walker took the job and was branded with the ranch brand to prove he was serious about this 'second chance'.
