Share Enter the world of competitive reining from your living room with the Paramount Network’s newest unscripted series, The Last Cowboy. The show premieres Wednesday, July 24th at 11 p.m. ET/PT, just after Yellowstone. The Last Cowboy comes from the co-creator of Yellowstone, the writer of Hell or High Water, and the writer/director of Wind River. Accomplished creative mind Taylor Sheridan brings the real-life trials and tribulations of the reining circuit to the screen. Several skilled male and female reiners of Arizona and Texas come together and open their lives to the camera for this exciting show. Among them are Casey Deary, Andrea Fappani, Abby Lengel, Tom McCutcheon, Matt Mills, Craig Schmersal, and Jason Vanlandingham, all of whom excel in reining and have the nominations and awards to prove it. The series will follow the reiners as they train for “The Run for a Million,” a $1-million-dollar reining competition created by Sheridan himself. While the event will be covered in the finale of The Last Cowboy, interested fans can attend “The Run for a Million” at the South Point Arena and Equestrian Center in Las Vegas August 15-17, 2019.
