What cowboy or cowgirl wouldn't want to celebrate the 4th of July in paradise doing what they love? For the past 64 years, the tropical Makawao Rodeo has been held annually over this holiday. Hosted at the Oskie Rice Arena in upcountry Maui, the rodeo is coming back bigger than ever!

With a gap in the Rodeo's annual streak due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Oskie Rice Arena planned for this year accordingly. To say the least, they went big! The rodeo even changed it's name to the Makawao Stampede! Sounds more suiting for this thrill in paradise right?
