A look into the 2022 Ford AQHYA World Championship Show through the lens of Kirstie Marie Photography.

The Ford AQHYA World Championship Show is the world’s largest, single-breed world championship horse show open exclusively to youth exhibitors age 18 and under. This is the pinnacle event for youth competitors around the world who must qualify for the event by earning a predetermined number of points to secure a spot in each of the classes, representing English, Western, and halter disciplines, or earn an invitation through their state or provincial affiliate.

Winning Smiles

There's nothing like having all your hard work and dedication pay off. These cowgirls sure had some big smiles on their faces!

It Takes a Village

Athletes across all disciplines will say time and time again, "It takes a village." The team of people behind you, supporting you, is such a key factor to success. You can't do it alone, so make sure you have the best support system you can!

Cowgirls in Action

More than 4,400 entries from the United States, Canada, Brazil, South Africa, and Sweden competed for 44 world championships, 40 Adequan Level 2 championships, and 13 Nutrena Level 1 championships at this year’s event at the OKC Fairgrounds in Oklahoma City.

The next generation of cowgirls is looking bright! And, as always, Kirstie Marie did a fantastic job covering this event!
