Twisted X, a Twisted X Global Brands company and leader in sustainable footwear, and Wrangler, a global icon in jeanswear and casual apparel, announced the launch of a limited-edition, collaborative collection in honor of Wrangler’s 75th anniversary. Two western brands, united by the same mission: provide comfortable, eco-friendly footwear to go with your favorite pair of jeans.

The commemorative collection includes four new Zero-X no-glue shoes from Twisted X celebrating Wrangler’s iconic western heritage and mutual love of the land. With two men’s and two women’s styles, the slip-on footwear incorporates sustainable materials throughout and is built for comfort. Each pair also features a commemorative logo to celebrate the brand’s anniversary.

“This is a major milestone for Wrangler and we’re proud to continue our expansion and innovation into the category of footwear with a like-minded iconic western brand,” said Vice President Wrangler NAM Western & Workwear, Allen Montgomery. “Twisted X has proven to be a valued partner for us, and we’re thrilled to work with them once more to create this unique collection in honor of our special anniversary.”

Following a successful 2021 partnership that launched Wrangler Footwear with 43 diverse styles, the two iconic western brands have teamed up once again with a shared mission to provide comfort while protecting the planet. This collection is made with sustainability at the forefront, utilizing Twisted X’s proprietary interlocking, double-stitching system to construct footwear without the use of chemical adhesives, eliminating harmful toxins and high-energy production processes. Twisted X has committed to planting a tree for every pair sold through a partnership with One Tree Planted.

The new collection features a range of sustainable materials including uppers made from ecoTWX fabric composed of upcycled plastic bottles and leatherTWX fabric utilizing 80 percent recycled scrap leather that would otherwise end up in landfills. Additional features include an outsole made with blended rice husk, an agricultural by-product, and a biobased midsole derived from castor beans.

"It is exciting to work with an iconic brand like Wrangler which prioritizes the same core values and shares our rich western heritage,” said Twisted X CEO Prasad Reddy. “Sustainability is in our DNA and is the backbone of everything we do at Twisted X. This collection is no exception and demonstrates our continued commitment to ensuring every pair of footwear produced by Twisted X in 2022 and beyond includes at least one sustainable element.”

The collection is now available online at www.Wrangler.com and in-store at select retailers nationwide.
