No matter where you are this Memorial Day weekend, tune in to watch Cave Creek Rodeo Days live on The Cowboy Channel.
From Friday, May 22nd though Sunday, May 24th the rodeo will be broadcasted live every night. You can watch every performance on The Cowboy Channel and the PRCA on Cowboy Channel Plus App. The live performances will start at 7:30pm PST (10:30pm ET).
If you are local to the Cave Creek, Arizona area, there are two restaurants hosting watch parties each night. Both Harold’s Cave Creek Corral and Buffalo Chip Saloon & Steakhouse will be in the full swing of rodeo spirit.
At Harold’s 300 guests will be able to watch from the restaurant or patio. Usually the capacity would be at 800, but Harold’s is dedicating plenty of space for safe social distancing practices.
“This is the 42nd year (for the Cave Creek rodeo),” said Danny Piacquadio, owner of Harold’s and a Cave Creek Rodeo Days board member. “Cave Creek is steeped in tradition, horsemanship, cowboys and rodeo. We wanted to keep that tradition going. Obviously, these are tough times, and we’re doing it responsibly by not allowing any spectators (at the rodeo), but we have an opportunity to bring it on TV with support from the PRCA and The Cowboy Channel. We felt this is was a way to give the public something to entertain them and keep our tradition alive” (ProRodeo).
At the Buffalo Chip Saloon & Steakhouse, an expected capacity of 2,000 rodeo fans will be able to watch rodeo on 17 screens while listening to two live bands. The Buffalo Chip is also abiding by safety protocols and is excited to provide a safe, comfortable and fun event.
We can not wait for the return of Pro Rodeo this Memorial Day weekend!
