This past weekend, Shaley Ham (a.k.a. West Desperado) and new fiancé, Nick, had a little faux-wedding shoot. The results? Beyond fabulous.

Shaley and Nick recently got engaged when Nick surprised Shaley after a cattle drive by popping the question. Shaley said she had no idea! You can read their full engagement story here.

Now that they’re in wedding mode, they might as well get ready with a photo shoot!

The pair were photographed by Shana Bailey Photography at Wallowa Lake Vacation Rentals near Enterprise, Oregon. Wallowa put the shoot together, and didn’t miss a beat.

With the grain silo bar, barrel tables, rustic-romantic decor, and forest setting, it’s kind of a Northwest faux-wedding dream.

Shaley donned a floor-length white dress, tan hat with floral hat band, tooled leather belt, and some striking white boots. Of course, she had to top of the look with some silver, including a squash blossom necklace.

Hubby-to-be Nick wore a white collared shirt, pleated jeans, boots, a brown, Aztec print vest, and a black hat, because no cowboy can tie the knot hatless!

When posting the shoot on social media, Shaley wanted to keep her followers guessing. “Did we elope over the weekend, or did I convince @nickgutzwiler to do a practice-run wedding with me?” she wrote on Facebook.

If this is what Shaley and Nick’s faux-wedding shoot looks like, we can’t wait to see the real thing!
