BEHIND WILD LACE BEADWORK’S WORKBENCH:
Owner, designer and maker of Wild Lace Beadwork, Lacey, has dedicated her time to creating customized, unique cowgirl pieces that find a home across the country. Her gorgeous beaded belts have been quite the hit with top notch cowgirls including Fallon Taylor, Miss Rodeo America 2017 (Lisa Lageschaar) and Miss Rodeo American 2018 (Keri Sheffield).
Lacey’s beading, leather working, and sewing skills have taken years of accomplishment. “This business has been a work-in-progress for many years. As a young girl, my mother taught me how to sew fabric… Fast-forward a few years to college graduation. Determined to become a leather worker, I used my graduation gift money to invest in leather and some tools,” she explains. “Now here I am today, working with leather on a daily basis! However, beadwork has definitely become my specialty.”
