The official launch press conference for the landmark 2023 Women’s Rodeo World Championship Week was held on the steps of Cowtown Coliseum this morning. This week's events are slated to pay out $1.145 million in prize money, affording more than 800 women’s competitors the chance to compete for life-changing payouts.

The Women’s Rodeo World Championship Week will feature three marquee events, including the 2023 Women’s Rodeo World Championship (WRWC) along with a NBHA (National Barrel Horse) one-day event and The Cowgirl Gathering. All events will be held at Cowtown Coliseum, with select events held at the APHA (American Paint Horse Association) Headquarters, RFD-TV Studios and Mule Alley.

Women’s Rodeo World Championship Commissioner Linsay Rosser Sumpter was joined by PBR CEO and Commissioner Sean Gleason, APHA Executive Director Billy Smith, and NBHA Director of Barrel Racing Bailey Nahrgang. Additionally, Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker made remarks to present an official certificate of recognition.
