On December 9th, at the National Cutting Horse Association Futurity in Fort Worth, Texas, Woody Be Tuff changed ownership hands. Woody Be Tuff was sold for $1.3 million to Melanie Smith of Solo Select Horses LLC and Kaleb Terlip.

The young stallion also made news covers with the release of him being a million dollar sire in the National Reined Cowhorse Association. This milestone in a stallion's career is a major one, with only 22 other sires reaching that point since 1949.

Woody Be Tuff (Nitas Wood x Tuffs Junie (x Tuff Wood)) was sold by the Center Ranch in Centerville, Texas. This stallion is a 2001 model, with LTE: $351,063. Given that Center Ranch owner Finis Welch just passed away, the ranch decided to disperse Woody Be Tuff and some other horses at the Western Blood Stock Sale.

Woody Be Tuff will stand in Oklahoma at the Lazy E Arena for his 2022 breeding season. His progeny earnings are in excess of $7,100,000 across multiple disciplines. They have disclosed that they will be taking limited breedings this year to select mares. He is known as the top outcross stallions for many premier blood lines.

Woody Be Tuff will be a key attribute to Solo Selects Horses LLC's stallion line up. Solo Select also offer to the public Metallic Cattack (Metallic Cat x Quiolena ( x CD Olena), and Dirty Fling (Metallic Cat x Streak Of Gin (x A Streak of Fling)).

Woody Be Tuff was paid into the Ruby Buckle as well as the Riata Buckle after purchase. He is of course eligible for all NCHA and NRCHA incentive shows as well. His size and consistency given to his offspring is what make him one of the best stallions on the market.

Woody has finished up this year successfully as a sire. He sired the NRCHA Open Snaffle Bit Futurity Champion Zak 34. He also was the sire of the “Million Dollar Baby”, Wood She B Magic , who was the high seller at the NCHA Western Blood Stocks sale last year as a two year old. Wood She B Magic ended up tied for third and earned $126,061 in the NCHA Open Futurity Finals. The champion Janie Wood has a correlation to Woody Be Tuff as well. Janie Wood (Stevie Rey Von x Junie Wood (Nitas Wood xTuffs June)) is out of a full sister to Woody Be Tuff.
