Since 1947, Wrangler has drawn inspiration from those who live by their own rules and do things their own way, crafting dependable denim for riders, rock stars, and trailblazers.

Wrangler is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year with some exclusive collaborations, sustainable partnerships, and special collections.

Founded in Greensboro, North Carolina, to serve the needs of ranchers and rodeo riders, Wrangler quickly became the uniform of the growing youth movement of the 1950s and 1960s. For 75 years, it has dressed riders, rock stars, and adventure seekers, always staying true to its roots and drawing inspiration from those who live by their own rules. To honor this history, Wrangler’s year-long celebration will bring together the elements of Western culture, music, and fashion that have long been part of the brand’s spirit.

The kick-off of celebration is starting with the launch of the Spring/Summer 2022 75th Anniversary capsule. Part of this celebration collection is a series of energetic T-shirts, hoodies, and joggers characterized by eye-catching custom logos, and a bold palette with deep reds, yellows, and blues.

The same playfulness and optimism are reflected in the women’s printed denims, with ice cream stripes on Wild West straight leg jeans and checks on the flared silhouette of the Wrock Fit.

Wrangler will be leaning into its history with a Spring ’22 women’s collection rife with authentic Western prints and Americana influences. The women’s range features a collection of denim shirting, Southwestern-printed apparel, and jeans in a range of faded washes that mimic the appearance of an old pair of jeans worn incessantly out on the farm.

Warm, earthy hues like mineral pink and aloe green punctuate the collection and further tie in themes of nature. But while most of the colors tie back to nature, the collection also plays with striping, rainbow and psychedelic prints, which are becoming increasingly popular as post-pandemic consumers push their style and color boundaries.

Wrangler’s Heritage collection, which consists of six pairs of bestselling women’s denim silhouettes, welcomes two new styles for spring, including the Barrel, a tapered wide leg, and the Rock, a cropped kick flare.

Shorts make an appearance in the spring collection, with frayed high-rise “festival shorts,” carpenter shorts, and relaxed-fit shorts in a range of colorways.  With one single pair of jeans, the brand is also expanding into maternity wear. The style features a medium indigo wash and a straight leg with an elastic waistband that accommodates a growing belly.  Happy Anniversary Wrangler! Looking forward to the next 75!
