Wrangler’s line of Ultimate Riding Jeans has already impressed us, and their new style the Willow takes it to another level.

Back in February, VF Jeanswear Marketing Manager Robin Rich spoke with COWGIRL about the jean’s special features prior to the product’s release.

Rich shared that when designing the Ultimate Riding Jean, Wrangler gathered women from the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) to ask them what they would want in their ideal riding jean.

“We found out that they wanted an inseam that was smooth so they wouldn’t rub their leg,” she says.” “We found out that they needed the perfect rise: not too low, not too high. We realized that we needed a waistband that would help you keep your shirt tucked in.”

Buyers can expect the standard smooth inseam and No Gap Waistband of Ultimate Riding Jean, with some new features special to the Willow. The Willow’s fabric has been elevated to give it a soft hand and superior stretch recovery, meaning no bagging out after riding. The jean also comes with a new rise, providing more coverage in the seat and keeping shirts tucked in place.
