Rodeo New York is about to do NYC Wright. Several men from the Wright family have signed on to compete at Rodeo New York this summer, which will take place Father’s Day Weekend at Madison Square Garden.

Saddle bronc at Rodeo New York will be the first time a father and three sons will compete in the same rodeo event. And then there’s the rest of the family.

Cody, Rusty, Ryder, Jesse, Spencer, and Stetson Wright have all committed to ride at MSG. Stetson was the first to commit, and Cody was the most recent to sign on.

Stetson Wright won the Bull Riding and All-Around titles at the 2019 Cheyenne Frontier Days and was the 2019 PRCA Bull Riding Rookie of the Year, the All-Around Rookie of the Year, and the reigning All-Around World Champion.

Cody Wright — father of Rusty (a Calgary Stampede Champion and the current National Western Saddle Bronc Champion), Ryder (the 2017 World Champion), and Stetson — is a 2X world champion saddle bronc rider.

When asked about what Father’s Day Weekend will be on Western Sports Round-Up, Ryder Wright had just one word to say: “Big.”
