Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan is working on a spin-off that will be set in Texas currently titled “6666,” which will be reportedly be available on Paramount+.  Makes perfect sense since it was recently announced the legendary 6666 Ranch was purchased by Yellowstone Creators Group, headed by Taylor Sheridan, which is enormous news in its own right.

“6666” will center around the Four Sixes Ranch, a legendary ranch in West Texas that is known for raising the finest horses and livestock in the world, and ultimately where world-class cowboys are born and made.

It’s not clear how the new Texas-based series will tie in with the Duttons of the “Yellowstone” series, but there is much buzz going around on who the new cast members will be.

“We will be introducing new characters and storylines alongside world-class talent and creators. We are very much looking forward to bringing these shows to life,” said David Glasser, CEO of 101 Studios, in a statement.

Sheridan, who lives in Texas, is also working on a prequel series called “Y:1883” as well as “Mayor of Kingstown” starring Jeremy Renner, and “Land Man,” which will be about West Texas oil rigging.
